Cardboard, an environmental and versatile material, which was used as the main material for the signage project by Isidro Ferrer for the Spanish Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
Made by Isidro Ferrer in collaboration with the Valencian designer Paul Alabau and Zaragoza Versus. The letters and signs are written in Spanish, English and Chinese and some of the elements are die-cut. I absolutely adore these three-dimensional Chinese characters. If they would have been Roman characters I guess the project would have had the same effect on me.
