VCE Season Of Excellence 2011 VCE的卓越季节活动宣传策划设计

The VCE Season of Excellence, by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), is a series of events and exhibitions celebrating a selection of A+ grade work produced by VCE students in an array of creative fields.

A Friend Of Mine created a graphic campaign around the concept of ‘process’ for the umbrella event and 5 sub events. The identity had to translate in both a 3 dimensional and 2 dimensional environment as exhibition signage was a key consideration alongside more traditional print applications. A series of multi dimensional hand-cut dioramas were created for each field, depicting the depth of talent and process behind each event. The human element was important to capture in the visual language of the campaign to reflect the students it celebrated. Each event diorama opens as a window of action through the silhouette of an arm, reflecting the level of work the students have put in through their studies and capturing a feeling of excitement and pro-activity evident in the work and attitudes of the students.

A Friend of Mine worked with Ryan Ward on the campaign identity, Chris Methers of White Cube on the exhibition design and Shane Loorham on the campaign photography.
